The power of forgiveness is amazing! We know it for ourselves if we have experienced the love and grace of God in our lives. There are many stories outside the Bible (e.g. ‘The Railway Man’) which demonstrate the transforming effect for good of forgiveness when it is offered and received. In Colossians 3 Paul echoes Jesus’ teaching about forgiving one another.
