2 Peter 3: 1 – 9.

Looking up to receive from God, looking back into Scripture and heeding His warning [in other words the last three weeks of teaching] prepares us for “wholesome thinking” (v1). We can see that God the creator is in control of history bringing openings and closings as He chooses. His patient timescales demonstrate His desire for “everyone to come to repentance” (v9).

Where is our role in working out God’s purposes so that all may be saved?
