Romans 15: 14-33
It feels as though this section of Romans is the start of Paul bringing things to a conclusion, but he still has plenty to say. He uses his own example, his own working out of what it means to be “living the gospel” to encourage us to be: priestly (vs. 14-17); powerful (vs. 18-19a); pioneering (19b-22); persistent (vs. 22-23). That all comes together as we “glory in Christ Jesus in [our] service to God” (vs. 17).
That’s about personally accepting and living out our God given mission, not in total isolation, but doing our bit within the big picture of the mission of God.
