Haggai.

Whereas most of the other prophets had a very clear and blunt message of destruction and judgement, the message of Haggai is more about encouragement for the Lord’s people to get their priorities right. There is an element of rebuke included in that the house of the Lord was being neglected in favour of the people’s own homes and lifestyle choices. But even then, the encouragement for the people of the Lord is that they remember to put God first. Then, those who are tasked with taking the word of the Lord into the world (that includes all of us!) will see the blessing of the Lord and the growth of His kingdom. What priorities to we need to realign?
