2 Thessalonians.

One letter wasn’t enough for the Thessalonians! They took on board what Paul had said in his first letter – hope is already secured in Christ, and He will return to make all things new. Their response went something like: “Oh! Ok. If that’s the case, we’ll sit down and wait for Christ to return and do everything that’s needed.” NO!!!

“Don’t give up by being lazy!” is Paul’s resounding cry! His encouragement is that those whose joy and hope is already in the Lord, will continue to set an example to those around them in every aspect of their lives, including their work. Then, when Christ does return, all people will kneel before Him as Lord and Saviour.

When “Church Rebooted” is responded to fully, it will Kingdom-build the world!
